About
Meet Veronica
Dr. Veronica Boyd is devoted to helping others by restoring balance through acupuncture, herbs, nutrition, and integrative medicine. She believes that everyone has the ability to optimize their well-being. Her treatments are focused on each individual’s needs in order to provide the most comprehensive care.
Veronica received a BA degree in Applied Psychology from Champlain College in Burlington, VT. She completed her Masters and Doctoral degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Sciences in San Diego, CA. She has also been a certified yoga instructor for over 10 years.
During her Masters and Doctoral programs, Dr. Boyd completed clinical externships at UCSD Cancer Center, UCSD RIMAC Sports Area, and community-based integrative health services in San Diego, CA. She is currently focusing her continuing education on functional medicine and women’s reproductive health.
Veronica holds nature in the highest regard and is outdoors as much as possible. She and her husband run a seasonal restaurant, Marco’s Cafe, in the foothills of El Dorado County. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, yoga, running, and gardening for her micro flower farm.
